The other day I was in the gym...
working on my arm muscles. I was doing free weights and noticed that my left arm was just getting started at the same time my right arm was about to fall off from exhaustion. Then it hit me. I usually end up carrying Anna around on my left hip, holding her with my left arm. Why? I don't know why. It just feels unnatural to hold her on my right side. But methinks I am beginning to to look like that guy from Lady in the Water with one well muscled arm and one, um, not.

Hey, Suhs, you carry Anna on your left hip because you're right- handed and are always working at something when toting her around. Been there, done that.
If you want to strengthen that right arm, here's an idea ~ start carrying Nate around, one child on each side!
And post the picture for us all to enjoy!

Wow, I have not seen that movie.
You know, I can barely pick up Izzy anymore. She's too big and rarely wants to get picked up so I'm out of practice.
Unlike Nate, who still likes to be carried around. It probably has something to do with having a baby sister!
Isabel always did have an independent streak, right, Lizzie?
If I carried Nate around on one hip, and Anna on the other, I would be easily hauling around about 90 pounds of kids! Egads!! I would fall over!
