Happy Easter, Bunnies!

The sun is shining, there is just the slightest chill in the air, we are outside seeking hundreds (it seems) of eggs... it must be Easter! Nate has eaten WAY too much chocolate and sweets. He must be feeling pretty tired because after one Easter egg hunt, he was done for the day. Only vegetables and fruit the rest of this week! And as for the little one, this is Anna's very first Easter and she's old enough to suck on one of her brother's gummy bunnies (and cry when I think she's has too much sugar and pull it away). I justified it because it might help with those two top teeth that are just peeping through. Hope everyone has a great Easter! I wonder how long they will let me put bunny ears on them....

Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!

This was a pretty subdued St. Paddy's for us this year. No green beer. No green food. But Anna and I both got lots of pinches because neither of us wore green today! It is just not a flattering color for us girls.

Harbinger of things to come?

Now that Anna is fully mobile, she gets into the darndest things! Here she is pulling books off of our bookshelf. When Nate saw what she was doing, he exclaimed, "No, Anna, no! What a big mess" and started to clean up after her. How ironic. Now only if he took himself to task like he does his baby sister! We need to bribe him with tokens (4 tokens = a trip to the treasure box which I filled with toys from the Dollar Store) to make him clean up after himself! He looks *so* not amused.

I am a hideous, hideous beast

I'm feeling a little bit bored tonight. Rather than watching Go Diego Go for the upteenth time, I opted to play on the computer. Once I checked my e-mail, then today's primaries (no results yet), I went to myheritage.com. And look at the results of who I most resemble. I nearly screamed when the first one popped up! Although it is embarrassing, this is too hilarious NOT to share!
