Iddy biddy little tooth (teeth?)
Anna's first teeth are coming in! No wonder she has been a bit cranky lately. It is her bottom two front teeth. We aren't exactly sure if it is just one or two because she won't open up her mouth long enough to get a good view... after all, you can't tell a 6 1/2-month old to say "aaaahhhhhh". I tried to take a picture of them but the results were almost comical, so you'll have to take my word for it.

Anna's first word
It is just not fair. Anna, when she is upset and Marc is around, will deliberately call out "da da da da da". She's done it several times now, so I know that it is not just a fluke. How come all the children say his name first??

Anna's hair is growing so fast!
Tricky baby.
Perhaps it is time to move the crib down a notch. Today, I left Anna safely sitting in her crib while I grabbed a sweater from her dresser. When I turned back around, she was kneeling and holding on tight to the railing! I am just glad that she hasn't yet figured out how to stand! So of course I ran downstairs to grab the camera.
Ho hum, just sitting here, mindin' my own business.

Whee! Look at me!

Sigh. This is a bit tiring.

Uh oh, am losing my balance.

Oops!

Today Anna is still sick...
That darn RSV, so tricky to get rid of. I am just wondering when I will be able to return to work. And believe me, after a week and a half of being home with the children, I am more than ready to return to work! In the meantime, here are some recent photos of Nate and Anna. Sigh, looking at these photos makes me feel like time is just flying past. Nate, not yet four, got a brand new camera for Christmas and loves taking photos. He even likes taking artistic ones of the carpet, the fish tank, etc. And yes, Anna is patting Max who is just loving the attention, no matter the source. She just recently started to hold her arms up when she wants to be picked up, another reminder that there is an active little brain in that little head who understands more than we think but can't communicate quite yet. I hope that Anna takes a nap soon. I think I got about 4 or 5 hours of sleep last night and I am ready to head back to bed myself.
