And the results of the poll...

According to the poll, most people (near 3 out of every 4) believe that Anna's eyes, despite the genetic odds, will stay blue. The remainder say no way, jose; they'll turn brown eventually DESPITE what all the doctors say about eye color changing by the time a baby is 9 months old. I guess only time will tell. Thanks to all those who provided input!

More beach photos!

Do babies like oceans, how many kids can fit in a tub, and other questions answered....

The whole Milin family headed south on Memorial Day weekend, like the rest of the free world, to the beach! We went and stayed with Meg, Tom, Emma and Harrison and had a fabulous time. Here are the pictures to prove it. As always, M & T were fabulous hosts. We played outside, went to the beach a few times (Anna was terrified of the ocean but a big fan of the sand and Nate had a blast), went kayaking on the intracoastal waterway (neither Emma nor Nate were fans of the waves) and were semi-drunk and merry the rest of the time. Ahhh, it is so relaxing and wonderful to be with the Masseys!

Happy mothers day to all the mothers out there!

A special 'I love you' goes out to Mary Alice (my mom) and Betsy (Marc's mom). And a special thank you to Anna, who took a long nap on Sunday which allowed me to catch up on sleep myself. We had a great day although it was raining cats and dogs all day long. We braved the weather to go see Great Grandma, who was thrilled to see two little members of her brood. I hope that everyone had a great day!

And some of the spaghetti actually made it into her mouth!

Anna ate up all of her pasta from last night and just loved it. When I wiped her face off after dinner, however, it looked like she had just used a bad self tanner. Her face kept its orangish glow till the next day!

In other news, after 4 months of saying "dada", Anna is finally saying "mama". Ah, that just warms my heart. This is, of course, after she said "glug glug", "night night", "Finn" (a little boy in her class), "button", "all done", and lots of other words to her teachers. The little stinker!

My little boy is growing up

For some reason, Marc and I noticed this weekend in particular that more and more Nate is switching from "Mommy" and "Daddy" to just plain "Mom" and "Dad". I guess it is better than "hey, you" or "Marc" or "Sarah", but at the same time, it is a sure sign that our little boy is growing up. He's even stopped playing with my hair, something that he's done to relax with since he was 6 months old or so. Sigh.

In the meantime, here are some more pictures from the wedding that my cousin Mindy took since Marc and I were big slackers!
